Every Time I Crash in GTA 5, I Lose $10,000 (Impossible Challenge)
If you play GTA 5, you already know how much fun it is to drive around Los Santos. You can race through traffic, do stunts, and escape from the police. But what if every time you crash your car, you lose $10,000? That’s the challenge I decided to take on — and it was way harder than I thought!
The Idea Behind the Challenge
I was watching some GTA 5 videos on YouTube when I saw a guy do a “no crash” challenge. He tried to drive across the whole map without hitting anything. It looked simple at first, but he failed again and again.
That gave me an idea. What if I added a little twist to make it more exciting — and expensive? So I decided that every time I crashed my car, I would lose $10,000 from my in-game money.
I thought, “I’m a good driver. I can handle this.” But I was wrong. Really wrong.
Setting Up the Challenge
First, I had to set up some rules so the challenge felt fair. Here’s what I decided:
-
I could use any car I wanted.
-
Every crash big or small would cost me $10,000.
-
If I hit another car, wall, pole, or even a trash can, it counted as a crash.
-
I couldn’t reload a save or undo a crash.
-
The goal was to drive across the entire map of GTA 5 without losing all my money.
I started with $100,000. That meant I could only crash ten times before I went broke. Easy, right? Not even close.
The First Attempt – Total Disaster
I started my journey in Los Santos, near the airport. My plan was to drive all the way to Mount Chiliad without crashing. I picked a red Comet, one of my favorite sports cars in the game. I thought it would be fast, smooth, and perfect for the challenge.
I didn’t even make it out of the city before my first crash.
I was trying to squeeze between two cars at a traffic light, but an NPC (non-player character) suddenly changed lanes and hit me. Boom! $10,000 gone in the first five minutes.
I told myself, “Okay, that’s fine. I’ve still got $90,000 left.” But deep down, I knew this wasn’t going to be easy.
The City Traffic Nightmare
Driving through the city was the hardest part. Cars came from every direction, red lights seemed to last forever, and pedestrians kept running into the road. I tried to go slow and steady, but it didn’t help much.
At one point, I tried to drive through the Vinewood Hills. The view was amazing, but the narrow roads were a nightmare. A single mistake could send me flying off a cliff.
By the time I reached the countryside, I had already crashed four times. That meant I had lost $40,000. I started to get nervous because the real challenge was only beginning.
Country Roads, No Mercy
Once I left the city, I thought things would get easier. There were fewer cars, wider roads, and beautiful scenery. I even started to enjoy the drive. But GTA 5 has a way of surprising you.
Out of nowhere, a deer ran across the road. I swerved to avoid it and hit a rock instead. Another $10,000 gone. I laughed and said, “Well, at least the deer is safe.”
After that, I decided to drive slower and more carefully. I even turned off the radio so I could focus better. But it didn’t matter. A random NPC truck came speeding down the hill and sideswiped me. Crash number six. My total losses were now $60,000.
The Final Stretch
I was getting close to Mount Chiliad, and I only had $40,000 left. That meant I could crash four more times before I lost everything. I decided to take the off-road route for fun — big mistake.
The mountain roads were rough, full of bumps and tight turns. My car started sliding around like it was on ice. I tried to stay calm, but the car hit a tree. Then another tree. And then I accidentally rolled down the hill.
In less than two minutes, I lost $30,000 from three small crashes.
Now I had only $10,000 left — one crash away from losing the challenge. I decided to push through to the top of the mountain no matter what. My car looked terrible. The front bumper was gone, the windshield was cracked, and the engine was smoking.
When I finally reached the top of Mount Chiliad, I felt so proud. I had made it — but just barely. Then, as I tried to stop and take a victory photo, the car rolled backward and hit a rock. Boom. My last $10,000 was gone.
What I Learned
Even though I failed the challenge, it was one of the most fun things I’ve done in GTA 5. It made me drive more carefully and pay attention to every little detail. Usually, I just drive recklessly in the game because there’s no real penalty. But this time, every mistake cost me a fortune.
Here’s what I learned:
-
GTA 5 driving is harder than it looks. NPCs are unpredictable, and even the best drivers can crash.
-
Setting personal rules makes the game more exciting. Losing money made me care more about every turn and every bump.
-
Sometimes failing is fun. I didn’t complete the challenge, but I laughed the whole time.
Would I Try It Again?
Absolutely! Next time, I might change the rules a little. Maybe I’ll lose $5,000 per crash instead of $10,000. Or maybe I’ll use a slower car that’s easier to control. Either way, I’m definitely doing it again.
If you play GTA 5, I really recommend trying this challenge. It’s simple, fun, and it’ll test your driving skills like never before. Just be ready to lose a lot of money — and your patience.
